Geomarine Entrance Canopy
An entrance canopy to the marina.
Project scope
Working in partnership with Queensbury Shelters we were part of a small team who designed an entrance canopy for the Jersey Harbour refurbishment scheme.
The project involved taking concept sketches from the client through to presenting a design solution that met the requirements of the brief. The canopy had to incorporate automatic doors with a keyless and keypad entry system. Stainless steel roller bollards were also positioned around the canopy to allow fuel hoses to be pulled through the open canopy doors to allow refuelling of the RNLI lifeboats.
The canopy was designed and built within a tight programme to meet the opening of the marina.

The shelter was manufactured and installed by Queensbury Shelters. The site works being coordinated to allow the specialist finishing to the floor to be completed around the structure.
