Newquay Bus Station

Project scope

Whilst working at Queensbury Shelters we worked on the design for two new bespoke glass roof shelters located at Newquay Bus Station.

Working in collaboration with Cormac and the council we produced a number of design proposals based around Queensbury Shelters’ Arun Shelter. The client was looking for a design solution that was contemporary and coordinated with the refurbishment of the existing ticket office building. The final design has integrated RTPI signs, LED lighting, wooden bench seating and has a new flat roof glazing system with laminated safety glass panels.

The shelter framework is manufactured from galvanized structural steel providing a high specification, low maintenance shelter.
